Organizations

Throughout the school year and even through the summer there are a number of fun activities for students, parents, families and the entire St. Anthony community. Volunteers are always needed to make any event a success. Click here for volunteer requirements.

Student Organizations and Extra-Curricular Activities:

Glory Beaders- Miss Kelly Buzenski

Squires (Youth Group of the Knights of Columbus)- Mr. Lou Schwartz

St. Anthony Athletic Commission
Includes golf, volleyball, basketball, football, track and more for girls and boys in all grades.
 
St. Vincent De Paul Society Student Chapter
Similar to adult clubs, students in grades 7 and 8 are dedicated to serving the needy in the community. Make sandwiches for the Haven, organize food drives, participate in Friends of the Poor Walk and help with many more charitable activities! Click here to contact the parent organizer.
 
Math Counts - Mr. Tim Schnurr
This math club is for students in grades 6, 7, and 8. Click here for more information.
 
Battle of the Books - Ms. Claire Hoffman and Miss Kelly Buzenski
Students in grades 7 and 8 can join this book club and compete against other schools; testing their knowledge of classic and contemporary literature.
 
 
Lit Wits (literary wit)- Ms. Claire Hoffman
 Lit Wits challenges students to read books and then participate in a quiz competition to showcase their knowledge. Working in teams, each student taking part and making a long-term commitment to read seven books from a chosen list. In the Spring teams compete, answering questions about the books. The club will meet during the school day, on a monthly basis. Students will improve their teamwork and comprehension skills while reading great books!  
 

Parent Organizations and Fundraisers:

Catholic Education Fund - Ms. Emily Burt
Catholic Education Fund (CEF) coordinates several fundraisers throughout the year to help cover miscellaneous school expenses including books, equipment and scholarships.

Corn Roast Festival - Mr. Alfred Akainyah , Mr. Lou Schwartz and Ms. Claire Hoffman
As our largest fundraiser, the Corn Roast Festival is an event that brings together the school, church and community in a fun celebration!
 
St. Anthony Athletic Commission (SAAC)
SAAC coordinates a very busy sports schedule for students. Without volunteers or fundraising, it simply can’t exist!
 
The SCRIP Program - Mrs. Monica Landis
SCRIP are gift cards purchased at a reduced rate by the school and then resold at face value. Money earned through SCRIP earns tuition credits for students and funds school expenses.
 
Box Tops - Mrs. Hopson
Clip those Box Tops for Education throughout the year! The school earns money to buy playground balls, jump ropes and other items.
 
Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus volunteer their time and talents for the benefit of the church, school and community. Fundraisers and volunteer opportunities vary throughout the year. Members must be men, 18 years of age or older, and practicing Catholics.
 
St. Anthony Alumni Association
All former students are welcome to join! Click here to sign up for future emails and announcements. Volunteers are also needed for the annual Open House, Corn Roast alumni activities and more!
