Pengyou-Amicus-Amigo-Friend Foreign Languages

Learning a foreign language opens worlds for us all. Foreign languages also allow us to understand our own language better. At Trinity Catholic Elementary School we offer several unique opportunities for students and their families to engage in learning a foreign language.

Spanish:  Mrs. Susan Haninger works with our kindergarten and first grade classes once a week.  Grades 4-8 receive instruction once a week as part of the Viva Spanish program.  Online resources are available for students in grades 2-3.  

Bishop Ready High School Credit Mandarin and Spanish language classes via video conference are offered to 8 ^th graders to take daily at Trinity for an additional fee. These classes are presented every day in a video conference broadcast from Bishop Ready High School and taken with several other area elementary schools.  Successful completion of these courses will give the student a high school language credit.
